Welcome to the Lufkin Dance Club!

The Lufkin Dance Club (formerly the Lufkin Polka Dots) is a non-profit club dedicated to promoting dancing in a casual, friendly and comfortable East Texas environment.   

This club is a Lufkin tradition - it has been going strong since 1979 when it was first organized as a polka and waltz dance club.  Today the club's focus has broadened to include many dances and types of music.  

We host regular dances, usually on the second Friday of every month, at the SPJST Lodge in Lufkin, which has a wonderful, large wooden dance floor.  Excellent professional performers with styles ranging from country & western to ballroom provide live music at most dances, supplemented by occasional recorded music nights.

Whatever your dancing preferences: two-step, waltz, polka, swing, cha-cha, line dance, etc., you will find it here.  And if you are a beginner, this is the place for you, too.  The club sponsors dance instruction, with classes usually during the month of March, but you will find friendly people willing to help you at our dances at any time of the year.
